ProfitFuel and Outrank.com’s Whitewater Adventure a Huge Success!
The lucky sixteen Outrank.com employees who were fortunate enough to win a trip to Canon City, Colorado recently got back to work, and the buzz is palpable.
The trip started off great. Arriving in Colorado late Friday night, the team rested up and were ready to hit the river early Saturday morning. They were ready, but the weather was not. With heavy rains and yes, even hail to face, the team pushed on and hit the river despite the less-than-ideal conditions.
“The rafting trip was both exciting and challenging,” says Tim, Sr VP of Sales and Operations here at ProfitFuel. “The lower stretch of the river is among some of the toughest water in the western US….and we conquered it in the rain and hail.”
And conquered it they did. After the long day on the water, the team had some free time to sight-see on Sunday and chose to spend some time at Seven Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls this side of the US. Jody, one of the winning sales agents, said, “the falls were beautiful, but more importantly, the sun was out that day, and I think we were all happy to see it!”.
Despite the weather, the trip was a huge success, as everyone was excited to share many stories upon their return. Jason, our winning Development Supervisor, sums it up the best: “Rafting the Arkansas river at full capacity was one of the most intense moments I can remember to date.”
